Radder the Cladder is a daily news service for the UK roofing, cladding and facade trades. It follows the stories that change what envelope contractors quote, buy, build and get paid for.
How stories are produced
Our news desk monitors openly published reporting from trade and national outlets. When a story is relevant to the envelope trades, the full published article is read and the facts are then reported afresh in our own words in a plain, neutral house style. Every article names and links the outlet that originally reported the story.
Sourcing and copyright
We report facts, not other people's prose. Articles are written from scratch and never reproduce a source's wording, structure or photography. Quotes are used only as short, clearly attributed fragments. Where an article sits behind a paywall or cannot be read in full, we do not cover it. Every picture on this site is produced in-house for the story it sits with. We never use press images, agency pictures or photographs taken by others, and our pictures never show real people, real premises or any company's branding.
Accuracy and corrections
Articles are written automatically and mistakes are possible. If you spot an error, or you are an outlet that would prefer a story about your reporting handled differently, write to toby@tsfacades.com and it will be corrected or removed.
