Editor
Helen has covered the UK construction trade for more than two decades, first on regional building titles and later as a news editor in London. She writes on contractor finances, market activity and the pipeline of work reaching roofing and facade firms, and edits everything Radder the Cladder publishes.
Deputy Editor
Daniel spent nine years reporting on procurement and public sector building programmes before joining the title. He follows framework awards, main contractor results and the payment practices that decide whether specialist subcontractors get paid on time.
Fire Safety and Regulation Correspondent
Priya reports on the Building Safety Act, second staircase rules and the remediation programme. A former local government building control officer, she reads the guidance so contractors do not have to, and covers Building Safety Regulator decisions as they land.
Materials and Supply Chain Reporter
Callum tracks the price and availability of the materials the trade actually buys: membranes, insulation, aluminium, glass and fixings. He came to journalism from a merchant buying desk in Glasgow and still reads the price indices first thing each morning.
